To sleep in a coalers den is maybe not one of the most comfortable overnight stays, but it definitely is a unique accommodation. You stay in an old-fashioned "Kolarkoja", also known as coaler's den. It is little hud where in former times the coal makers used to stay overnight in order to have an eye on the mine. Nowadays the hud is a cosy place with a simple bed of fir. It is on the ground of the Local heritage Centre in Brunskog, just at lake Värmeln, only about 20 km east of Arvika.
Breakfast is served in this historical environment.
