Julia Rio (1991) is mural and textiles artist from Värmland who discovered her passion for handicraft, colour and shapes at the age of 10. After displaying crochet street art in London a new door was opened for her. The textiles were quickly translated into geometric and colourful spray painted murals. Her abstract compositions are a collection of patterns and symbols from her travels, encounters and places and invites you to parallel universe where anything is possible.

Arvika Konsthall is located in a beautiful building with a lot of cultural significance. The building which was built during the turn of century is home to dozens of exhibitions every year.
