Experience Karlstad from the water between 8 June-30 August 2026
From 8 June you can take one of the beautiful boat buses to various places in Karlstad and Hammarö. The boat trip costs no more than a bus ticket and you book and pay for it in Värmlandstrafik's app or directly at the boat. All buses depart from the Inner Harbour.
Please buy your ticket in advance
In the Värmlandstrafik app you can buy single tickets, day tickets and season tickets and pay by Swish or bank card (please note that this does not guarantee a seat on board). The ticket must be activated upon boarding. On board the boat you can pay by traveller's cheque or bank card.
Please note that you need to pre-purchase a ticket for line 92. It is the so-called Cityturen where passengers are guided through the boat's speakers.
In Värmlandstrafik's app, you can also see current timetables, live times and disruption information. The app is free, search for Värmlandstrafik in Google Play or App Store.

Inner harbour
Once again this year, the Inner Harbour boat bus stop in Karlstad is the hub for all boat bus traffic. From there, the boats take you to summer gems and stops along the Klarälven and Vänern archipelago.
