The waterborne routes run frequently and the ticket costs the same as a bus journey on land (except for routes 95, 96, 97, 98 and 99). Tours also run from and to Kristinehamn, Grums and Borgvik.

How to buy a ticket for routes 90, 91, 92, 93 and 94?
As a traveller, we would like you to buy your ticket for Båtbussen in advance. Bus cards must be loaded before boarding. Charging can be done in our Båtbus cabin in the Inner Harbour, at the Bus Station Customer Centre, at agents or via the website. You can also travel on your season ticket that is valid in the current zone.
App - Karlstadsbuss
In the Karlstadsbuss app you can buy single tickets and day tickets and pay by Swish or bank card. Activate your ticket when you board and show it to the boat staff.
You can also view current timetables, live times and disruption information. The app is free, search Karlstadsbuss in Google Play or App Store.

Line 92, guided tours, must be pre-purchased via our booking system.
