Welcome to "Free Air"! This is what the croft was called when it was built on borrowed land over a hundred years ago. A charming croft with low ceilings, thick timber walls and old-fashioned windows.
The croft is practical with wifi, solar heating, induction hob and oven, but old details have been retained such as a tiled stove. You enter a hall where you can hang clothes in the closet. From the hall you enter the bathroom, where the shower and toilet are. The kitchen is cozy and big enough to cook a good dinner. The living room has a sofa, armchairs and table. Feel free to play any of the board games we have. Here is a flat screen TV that you can connect with hdmi cable, If you have a boxer card, you can use it. The best thing in the living room is still the tiled stove, it's just that you light a fire and cuddle! From the hall you go up a rather steep staircase to a loft. There is a small storage room with extra beds. In the attic there are two sections. One has two single beds. In the other there is a double bed. The loft is a room, but is partly divided by the masonry. Welcome!
We have traveled both around the world and Sweden! We have lived in such nice places and met such generous hosts. That is why it feels so fun to be able to welcome the world and Sweden home to us! Mrs. Falkman has been a native of Ölming and Värmland for many generations. She can tell about local sights and stories. Mr. Falkman is a lifeguard and is happy to tell you about what Lake Vänern has to offer. The Falkman children are happy to lend toys and other things that visiting children may need. We have full control of good restaurants!
Värmland is an oasis of sights and culture, and Lidsberg in Ölme is a good place to start! Here you get your own croft with your own garden. It is walking distance with less than half a kilometer to bus stop, gas station, small shop and restaurant. If you go out towards Ölmeviken in Lake Vänern, you get a rich bird life. Kristinehamn is only a 15-minute drive away, where you can buy food, visit museums and many restaurants. You should also take a trip to the Archipelago to see Picasso's sculpture. To Karlstad where you can see Lars Lerin's own Sandgrund, Värmlands Museum and the Brigade Museum it is 30 minutes. In the winter you can of course go skiing and in the summer both Lake Vänern and several small lakes attract. There are plenty of deer, wild raspberries are in the garden and blueberries are waiting in the forest.
Pets are accepted.
