About the trip:
If you choose to leave from Kristinehamn's guest harbor, you start with a leisurely trip through Vålösundet before a first stop is made at the Vålösund jetty. Here you have the opportunity to listen to a short presentation about the Picasso sculpture or explore the area on your own. The boat then steers through the northern Vänerskärgården, during the crossing you enjoy the pre-ordered lunch, the horizon and the tranquility while scouting for birds, wildlife and archipelago islands.
After about 2.5 hours, Västra Långholmen is reached, where a short walking stop is made. Take the opportunity to explore the archipelago, take a dip and stretch your legs before continuing towards Hammarö. If you want to end the trip already here, there is the possibility to disembark, otherwise you continue towards the Inner Harbor in Karlstad. During the last stretch, a short guide is offered.
Arriving in Karlstad, you can enjoy the pulse of the city, take the opportunity to eat a bite to eat at one of the restaurants or even sleep a night in one of the hotels before taking the train or bus back. If you want to go back directly, bus line 500 leaves Karlstad bus station at 18:15.
The boat trip is estimated to take about 6 hours. You can find the timetable here.
If you choose to start the tour in Karlstad, the boat follows the same route in reverse.
