By car
Riksväg 62 tar dig från E18 och Karlstad i söder till Munkfors kommun ända upp till Trysil i norr.
Från väst kan du köra länsväg 241 från Sunne. Från öst kör du Sunnemovägen (anslutning länsväg 240).
By air
You can fly between Stockholm and Hagfors Airport or Torsby Airport. Hagfors Flygplats eller Torsby Flygplats.
Med bus
To Värmland, you can travel with Flixbus eller Flixbus or Vy Bus4you, for example.From Karlstad you then take Värmlandstrafik bus 600 to Munkfors and Ransäter. Värmlandstrafik och linje 600 till Munkfors och Ransäter.
From Dalarna you travel with Dalatrafik which stops in Värnäs, where you can continue south to Munkfors municipality.
By bike
Cycling to Värmland may not be the most common way to travel, but if you feel like it, or once you're here, there are great opportunities for great experiences from the bike saddle.
Between Karlstad in the south and Uddeholm in the north runs a 90 kilometer long, paved and car-free cycle path called Klarälvsbanan.About halfway, the track passes through central Munkfors, a perfect opportunity to fill your stomach and quench your thirst or simply end the day's tour and spend the night.
Where Klarälvsbanan ends, Klarälvsleden begins. Klarälvsleden is a 130 kilometer long trail that runs from the archipelago to the wilderness and consists of a northern and southern part, Uddeholm–Sysslebäck and Hammarö–Karlstad.
