Here’s a ride that’s perfect for sturdy bikes and mountain bikes. Initially, the road is asphalted before turning into a gravel road that takes you up hill and down dale. The road is narrow, winding and with many twists and turns. It passes Grunnerud and Sandbol, and lakes like Summeln, Buvattnet and Öster-Svan. Once you reach Skäggebyn, turn left towards Svaneholm where there are restaurants, shops and sights. You find a map on the trail here
Parking: Säffle town centre, Kila Church, Svanskog Folkets Hus, Svanskog Church / Parish hall.
Lenght: app 30 km. Asphalt, gravel, public road. Not suitable for small children.
Route: From Säffle town centre, take Annelundsvägen towards Kila. Turn left at the sign Pellerud 6, just before Kila Church. Continue straight ahead; follow signs for Skäggebyn. At the intersection, turn left onto Storgatan towards Svaneholm town centre.
