The homestead is a living homestead (folk museum) from the latter part of the 18th century. The farm consists of a large room and two smaller rooms, kitchen and hall and is furnished with furniture. It has a period-style furnished home environment. Upstairs there is a school museum and exhibition space. On the farm there is a pole shed from the 18th century, a lodge with a barn and a baker's hut. Open by appointment and at events.
The Centre is open after agreement and on arrangements
Långserud Homestead is open at arrangements and events. Parking for a few cars, when it is not a school day or special arrangements at the school, it is possible to park there.
