The Frykenbilen ("Fryken car") was an old lorry that went down in Lake Fryken in 1936. It was lifted from the bottom of the lake and restored to its original condition 50 years later. Now you can see the restored car in the vehicle museum of Torsby.
The museum shows many more oldtimers, motorcycles and veteran vehicles, as well as radios, typewriters and much more.
Open during the summer, with café and small shop.
June, july and august: Monday-Friday 10-17.30. Saturday-Sunday 12-17.
