Several of the Racken artists lived around the lake during the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century and were inspired by the beautiful surroundings. Works of these artists are shown at the Rackstadmuseum in Taserud and we recommend to start or end the tour with a visit to the museum - some places / motifs you will recognize on your own tour around the Racken.
