The many lakes and waterways in and around Arvika provide excellent opportunities for fantastic canoe trips through varying landscapes – from distinct wilderness to agricultural scenery.
Arvika Canoe Center offers different tours, ranging from beginner trips to more challenging ones, for individuals, families, or small groups. Some of the canoe routes include: Glaskogen, Rinnen, Jösse River, Köla River, Värmeln, and Lillälven. All canoe routes are marked on the Arvika Outdoor Map. At Arvika Canoe Center, you can book a canoe package, which includes a canoe (for 2 people), paddles, a spare paddle, life jackets, a canoe trolley, rope, sponge, spade, trash bags, a tarp, guide descriptions, maps, and transport to some of the routes. A provision package can be purchased, and kitchen and outdoor equipment is available for rent. It’s also possible to rent just a canoe and start on any day of your choosing.
Arvika Canoe & Tourist Center also offers rentals of kayaks (sit on top), SUP boards, bicycles, and outdoor equipment.
During the summer, yoga classes and SUP yoga sessions are offered. The sauna is available to book year-round, and in the winter, there is the opportunity to try winter bathing during sauna evenings.
