At Treens Camping in Fredros, about 40 km north of Arvika, there is an 800-meter long disc golf course with 9 holes. Just like in traditional golf, the first throw is made from the tee (teeing area) with a frisbee, and from there, the player with the best score on the previous hole throws first. The holes are baskets with chains where you aim to throw the frisbee.
Disc golf offers a fun way to enjoy and explore the beautiful nature of Fredros for all ages. The activity and course are perfect for the whole family, featuring some challenging throws for the more experienced, while the distance to the baskets is manageable for beginners. It’s a pleasant walk of about an hour, with a mix of coniferous forest and some open terrain.
