Fishing in the Glaskogen Nature Reserve

For fishing in the nature reserve Glaskogen a fishing permit is required and there is a special permit that is valid for some 80 lakes and tarns in and around the Glaskogen Nature Reserve. During winter time when the ice is good, is also a good time to visit the lakes of Glaskogen that offers good winter fishing possibilities. At the information centre in Lenungshammar fishing equipment can be bought and fishing packages are offered. There it is also possible to rent canoes, kayaks and boats. Fish species: Perch, pike, pike-perch, salmon, salmon trout, char and whitefish. At the lake Lilla Rämmingen in the southern part of Glaskogen, a fishing bridge for disabled people has been built. The license can be purchased at the Informationcentre in Lenungshammar, Arvika Tourist Information Centre, Din Uno-X in Glava and Sulvikingen in Sulvik as well as on Glaskogens website.
