The fishing area of Glafsfjorden runs from Sulvik up north to the power-line at Rävön down south and includes the waters of Mötterudstjärn, Långtjärn, Daltjärn, Billingen, Humsjön, Sörtjärn, Avelboltjärn and part of Kolsjön.
To be able to fish in these waters you need to get a fishing permit, though in Kyrkviken in Arvika there is free fishing which means that you do not need a permit to fish. Fishing in rivers and streams is not allowed.
Species of fish: Pike, perch, eel, roach, salmon trout, burbot, pikeperch, whitefish, bleak, smelt, ruffe, rudd, tench, rapacious carp, ide and bream.
Reseller of fishing permit: Arvika Tourist Information Center, Arvika Kanotcenter, Böjda Spön, Arvika Fiskecenter, Ingestrands Camping, Sulvikingen and the gas station Din-X in Glava. Online via www.ifiske.se Children under 16 years are free.
