"Happenings on the square" - The hand i surrounded by words, sentences and quotes from residents of Arvika.
The artist, Ingrid Falk, aim for the project was for the sculpture to relate to the square and to the already iconic sculpture Fågelmannen.
During the spring different groups in Arvika met in workshops such as students, participants of Hälsokul (adults and people with learning difficulties) as well as people from the general public to gather ideas for words, sentences and quotes to decorate the paver surrounding the sculpture. All of the words are related to different happenings on the square.
