Skutboudden in Brunskog outside Arvika is a local heritage centre with 40 old buildings. It is beautifully situated next to the water and there are several events, the most famous being Gammelvala. Exhibitions are organised during the summer, among others a handicraft exhibition and Gammelvala, a festival featuring old working traditions. Traditional objects are on sale in the hundred-year-old shop during events.
