An area of bogs and marshy belts. You can find a lot of dwarf birches on the bog, witch is rare for the southern part of the county.The marsh is home for a rich birdlife.
Östra Sälsjömossen consists of a complex of bogs. Here you can find a rare species of birch. The bog also has a rich bird life.
Service:
At the south-easten border of the reserve, there is an information board. By the forest road there is a also a parking place.
There are no hiking trails.

From Degerfors, go towards Björneborg. After 7 km there is a sign towards the reserve.
