Paddle along the old transport route Bergslagskanalen. During the way you pass the locks. One of the nicest places along the way is Bjurbäckens Slussar (locks) that lifts 10,5 m in three steps.
The Bergslags Canal compromises of one long interconnected waterway from Filipstad to Karlskoga which is 64 km long and has a difference waterlevel of 17 m. There are 6 locks in the canal.
