The manorhouse was built by the family of Myhrman 1760. The Bard Esaias Tegnér stayed here and married the daughter Anna Myhrman.

The entrance is flanked by the old blast furnace ruins, the road then goes through more than 200 years old avenue, and then leads to the yellow manor's main building and wings.
