The stone square or "Stentorget" is a cobblestone field on Näshöjden in Värmskog. When the ice disappeared over 10 000 years ago only Näshöjden resided over the water surface leaving the rest of Grums municipality and the south of Värmland deep under the sea. A cobblestone field appeared on the hill and was originally a sea beach, 175 m higher that the current sealevel. The field is completly bare and you can clealry tell that it was once a beach.
