From the small village of Slottsbron in Grums, Sven-Ingvars has become one of Sweden’s most prominent and beloved dance bands. Founded and fronted by Sven-Erik Magnusson, he was the heart of the band until his passing in 2017. His son, Oscar Magnusson, took over the lead vocals and continues the band’s tradition of creating music that people love to sing along to.

In this remote corner of Värmland, where life was shaped by self-sufficiency and hard work, there was a timeless harmony between humans and nature. It was here, among the forests, cows, and clucking chickens, that Rigmor learned the value of simple living—something that still resonates in her down-to-earth and sincere music.
