LENGTH: About 1.5 km of trampled path.
STARTING POINT: In Sunnemo community. About 500 m east of the church just beyond the homestead by the main road. The path begins at the bridge on the south side of the road.
DESCRIPTION: Easy-to-walk path along the Hyttälven river. The river runs through a lush, nature-protected valley. The path ends at the river's outlet in Grässjön. The same route back again. At Grässjön and along the path there are picnic tables with benches.
VISIT: Ruin after the Sunnemo cabin and remains from a small industrial area at Sunnemo Mill in the late 19th century. Restored planer driven by a water wheel. Used for the manufacture of shingles. Sometimes during the summer it is running. Beaver ponds and beavers are commonly found in the Hyttälven river. If you are lucky and move quietly, there is a chance to see it. Animal and bird life is otherwise rich. Foxes and badgers are also found in the valley. Interesting flora with many southern species such as missne, slåtterfibbla, strutbräken, pors m.m.
