An old place from the 19th century where the economy was based on domestic production as the "stamp", the mill, the saw, the shingleplaner and the smithy.

Road 63 from Karlstad. In Molkom, take road 240 north, direction Hagfors.
After about 47 km turn right at the sign Brukshundklubben and LEWA,
after 50m, turn right and follow the sign LEWA 500m
Way-description from the north:
Between Uddeholm and Hagfors take the road 240 south, direction Molkom - Kristinehamn
After 2,5 km, turn left at the sign Brukshundsklubben and LEWA,
after 50 m turn right follow the sign LEWA about 500 m
