This 11 km long hiking trail goes out through Kilsbergen mountain range. The finishing point for the trail is north by Valåsen ridge, immediately east of Karlskoga and in the south by Svinsjöstugan cabin. An alternative starting point is by Lake Stora Lysingen. The trail is then 9 km long. Along the trail are two windbreaks with fire-pits and wood supply. In addition, you can visit a kolarkoja (wood shelter eco-lodge). From Karlskoga Nature Conservation Society's cabin by Svinsjön lake extends a 6 km long connecting trail to the Bergslag Trail. If you follow the connecting trail 1.5 km from Svinsjön lake, you can see what is probably Scandinavia’s biggest erratic boulder. Between the lakes Lilla Svinsjön and Sävsjön, is an 800 m long return-trail back to Kilsbergen’s largest cave, the cave by Hjortelmossen. South of Svinsjön lake you pass Ugglehöjden Nature Reserve with old forest of primeval character.
