Östra kyrkogården, the eastern graveyard, was designed by architect Åke Porne and gardener Carl Fredby. The church was consecrated in 1945.

The graveyard is characterized by the open and majestic environment of Bergslagen. River Svartälven in the east and the nature reserve Bullerdalen in the south. The memory park is from 1977.
