Bullerdalen is a 10-20 m deep gully, created by erosion. It is located on the western shore of river Svartälven. Fir forest and bilberry sprigs dominate the reserve, but there are also 14 kinds of fern. The fir forest by the southern shore is very old. The gully has a rich animal wildlife, especially birds. The paths change constantly because of the erosion, and the bridges sometimes have to be moved to new locations to ensure the safety of the visitors.
