Rävåsen is an esker that was formed during the ice age and is today a beautiful nature reserve.
The area is easily accessible, right in the center of Karlskoga. You will find nice walking and cycling trails in the area.
At Rävåsen the cemetery "Skogskyrkogården" can be found, it was built in the early 20th century in one of the giant kettle holes, and you can also find an old school called "Rävåsskolan", a beautiful primary school that opened i 1913.
