Stavnäs church

Church, consecrated in 1705, with objects dating from the 13th century. Beautiful surroundings at lake Glafsfjorden.

Stavnäs church was opened in 1705, 21 years later the building was completely finished with the erection of the spire in 1726. The door of the sacristy, triumph crucifix and baptismal font is derived from a medieval church. The crucifix is one of the oldest in Värmland.
