The temporary exhibitions are shown in a former boiler house, that has been renovated and converted into a modern museum building with funds from the European Union. The museumhas a diverse collection of national and international art. The museum also offers guided tours, creative activities, courses and lectures. On the second floor there is a room where children, and adults can create freely and take your fine works of art home with you, its free. It´s the same opening hours as the museum, but sometimes its booked fpr workshops. There is a also an audio-guide system, where visitors can listen to a guide at their own pace. A museum shop offers interesting gifts and presents a the restaurant Panncentralen Italienskt möte is located in the same building.

The museum is closed on the second day of Easter, May 1st, Ascension Day, Midsummer's Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
An old boiler house on the former hospital grounds Marieberg. The house is brick and has bright beautiful rooms. Kafferian is in the same building. For those who want to listen to their own guide, there is an audio guide. You borrow it in the museum's store for free.
