Welcome to a tour through the old mill area where you also have the opportunity to see Munkforsen, Klarälvens highest natural waterfall.
The old mill area dates back to the 17th century. In the mill park you will find several old buildings, a Siemens-Martin plant, the old fire station and "Lilla bruket" - a model museum. The focus of this museum is the Munkfors Mill in the year 1890, which was a very exciting year in the history of Munkfors. Today Munkfors is one of the few towns in Sweden that still live on the iron industry.
