Hike on Ekenäs, Värmlandsnäs. The trail goes around the headland, there is also a section that goes across the headland for a shorter tour. The start of the hiking trail is at Ekenäs campsite. The first part of the trail to Ladholmen is easier to walk as parts of the trail run on wide slats. Note that the spandrels do not have railings. The eastern part of the trail goes largely over roots, rocks and narrower branches.
Don't miss going out to the viewpoints. At Ladholmen, the southern tip of Värmlandsnäs, you can enjoy panoramic views beyond the Eskilsäter archipelago. An even more fantastic and magnificent view is obtained at Sohuvudsudden. From here there is an extensive view over Lake Vänern, the Lurö archipelago, Djurö National Park to the east and Kinnekulle to the south. Follow the trail back to the campsite or go to Åkershus to take the public road back.
