The hiking trail to the Stenbyälven barbecue area is a short trail, perfect for those who want to take a shorter trip with the picnic basket. It has a length of about 1.8 km. Here there is a barbecue area, windshield and coal hut. Stenbyälven is one of Värmland's most valuable waters. Its natural values lie mainly in the occurrence of stationary brook trout and the rare brook beetle Stenelmis canaliculcata.
Länsstyrelsen, The County Administrative Board since the 1980s has worked to achieve the good water values that exist in the watercourse today. Easy hike.
