The house was built in Djupviken during the 19th century and was moved to Säffle in 1931. Living homestead (folk museum) with various objects from Säffles history, as everyday articles from peasant society. Photo, tools and industry, including archaeological finds from Säffle area. The findings spanning a time period of about 6000 years. Säffle local history society carries out a large cultural heritage work to preserve Säffle area's local history by scanning and document the old pictures related to the municipality, and researching local history. Photo museum with about 30-40 000 images. Open mondays at 2-4 pm May-September, with reservation for changes.
