In Östra Ämtervik, you will find Alma Löv museum, which exhibits modern art in a different and intriguing way. The main building, Paleis Oranjestraat, is a remodeled three-story barn. In addition to art exhibitions, it also holds a small theathre and a café. In the surrounding fields and forest, you will find about ten pavillions that not only holds art, but are works of art themselves.
Alma Löv museum was founded in 1998 and has since then displayed art by Swedish artist as well as international ones, well-established artists as well as art students. The museum lives through the Broos family; among others Marc Broos who founded it, well-known artist Karin Broos who has displayed her art here, and Stella Broos who is now managing the museum.
