kmThe hike begins at the parking area and follows a 1.4 km pasture trail toward Värnäs-Tväråssätern. The path leads through young forest and across wetlands on boardwalks before reaching the edge of the nature reserve. Just before entering the reserve, you can take a 300-meter detour to a fire shelter, which is open for rest or overnight stays.
Inside the Fänstjärnsskogen Nature Reserve, the trail continues in a 1.4 km circular loop through hilly forest terrain.
