Next to beautiful lake Rattsjön you can rent at canoe at Gammelbyn Hovfjället.
You can rent canoes and equipment at the reception. We have lifejackets for both adults and children. Lake Rattsjön, only 200m from Gammelbyn, is surrounded by deep forests. Enjoy a relaxed day on the lake - maybe you want to take break in a wind shelter. Lake Mangen, which you find 8 km north of Gammelbyn, is another great canoeing spot. At low water numerous sandy beaches will pop up. The island Käringholmen is popular for picknick and BBQ.
