The padel courts at Torsby Skidtunnel & Sportcenter are located between the boules court and the airfield, and are open to anyone who wants to play. Padel is a racket sport that can be described as a mix between tennis and squash. The game is played on a 10 x 20 metre court, surrounded by steel and glass walls which are also part of the game. It is usually played as doubles – two against two – with rules that are largely similar to tennis.
The courts have a weather-resistant, self-draining surface, a wood-based structure, and are equipped with LED lights for good visibility even in poor lighting conditions. The facility is approved by the World Padel Tour and the Swedish Padel Federation, and the courts are accessible for people with disabilities.
