In 1697, the mill of Röjdåfors recieved its priveleges for grinding. The mill was in use as late as 1962 and is very well preserved. It has been used for generations by both Norwegians and Swedes.
NOTE! From May 30 2022, measures will be implemented at Kvarnen. It will thus be a construction site over the dam itself with barriers. It will be possible to be in the area outside the construction site itself. Access to the area is via the bridge downstream of the dam.
