The king Carolus the XII spent the night in Holmedals parrish a lot of times, when preparing the campaigns against Norway 1716 and 1718, probably in this cottage.

Drive E18 towards Oslo about 12 km, by the sign "Holmedal" turn left. Just before the church turn left towards "Uppsal".Drive about 15 - 20 m then you will have the cottage on the right hand. A small sign by the road. Parkingspace available.
