Årjäng municipality is located in southwestern Värmland, easily accessible along the E18, between Karlstad and Oslo.
By car
E18 towards Oslo/Stockholm goes through Årjäng municipality. If you come from thevnorth or south, you will come via road 172. Plan your trip here
By bus

By boat
If you come to Årjäng by your own boat, there are many good guest harbours and a fantastic lake system to discover. The lake system is part of the the Dalsland Canal.

By bike
Not many people travel to us by bike. But once you're here, there are great opportunities for beautiful cycle experiences.
Airports
There are three airports within 90 miles. On the Swedish side Karlstad Airport is the closest. In Norway we have airports just outside Oslo and in Sandefjord.
By train
It is excellent to get to Årjäng by combining Buss & Train. Via Karlstad, for example, from where there are good connections to Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo.
