kmA 23,6 km long circular hiking trail, marked with orange which starts at Larstomta hostel in Gunnarskog. Along the trail you pass the Gunnarskog local heritage center, the runestone Skramlestenen, the giant erratic Rövarstenen, the coal cabins at Korstjärnet, several wind shelters and rest areas by water and the view tower at Ryggestadberget. At Mörttjärn there is a connection to Norra Gunnarskogsleden.
The trail is a combined HIKING and BIKING (MTB) trail, so be prepared to meet bikers. Hikers go counterclockwise and bikers clockwise on this trail.
The difficulty of the hiking trail is rated blue according to Hiking Värmland standards, which means moderate. The trail is clearly visible and mostly follows nature paths and some logging roads. The height profile is no problem for a person of normal fitness.
Service
-Some of the wind shelters have dry toilets.
-Please bring your waste home, but if you can't there is a waste bin at Larstomta.
