The caves consist of several shallow hollows in the rock wall, about three meters in width and height. The area is about 200 meters above sea level and the location is thus close to the "high coastline". The high coastline is the level in Sweden where the sea reached its peak during or after the last ice age, which explains how the cave was probably formed by the waves and waves of the Arctic Ocean. In summer, a thin curtain of water flows down from the bogs above the mountain.
Best suited for visits during March.
