In the area there are, among other things, cultural remains in the form of the Morast redoubt and bulletproof vestiges since the dissolution of the union. A power line street, small roads and the electric light track create cable corridors with a large amount of light, which is favorable for a rich insect life of sand-dwelling and sun-loving species. In connection with the power line street, Värmland's landscape insect brown grass butterfly (Coenonympha hero) occurs, which is classified as Disadvantaged (NT) according to the species data bank's red list.
There is an open barbecue hut at the entrance. It is not bookable, so here it is the hospitality that prevails. Remember that the wood belongs to the cabin and that it is used with common sense.
The new Haraldstjärnsleden starts at Tallmostugan and is just over 5 km, 2.5 km single track. There is a windbreak, bathing jetty and barbecue area.
Ski tracks are run up on the electric track when there is enough natural snow.
