MULTI-DAY CANOE TOURS

Svartälven canoe tour

A perfect tour for the whole family of about 85 km and takes about a week to paddle. Svartälven canoe tour begins in Tyfors in Dalarna, continues down towards Lesjöfors and finishes in västra Sundsjön. There are 11 portages on this tour.

Northern Bergslag canoe tour

Begins at Värmlandsgården and ends at västra Sundsjön and is a bit more demanding than most other tours offered by Värmlandsgården. There are 13 portages on the norhern Bergslag canoe tour. It is 105 km long and takes about a week to paddle.

Big Bergslag canoe tour

Big Bergslag canoe tour is about 150 km long and takes up to two weeks to paddle. Just like the northern Bergslag tour it starts at Värmlandsgården and finishes as västra Sundsjön. The tour has 17 portages.

Southern Bergslag canoe tour

Southern Bergslag canoe tour is 96 km long and takes about five days to paddle. It starts at Sundsjön and takes you across a number of lakes large and small including Rämmen. You will also follow the meandering Svartälven. The tour is suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced canoeists. The tour has 14 portages.

Knon canoe tour

On this tour you chose the length of the tour on your own. The tour goes from Värmlandsgården to the lake Knon and back again. There are three portages on this tour.

The tour takes you to Gustavsfors from Värmlandsgården and takes up to three days to paddle. You will be picked up in Gustavsfors by transport and driven back to Värmlandsgården.
