The base exhibition in gallery Kvadraten
The Kristinehamn art museum association, led by Maud Sandström and Elsa Hallbäck, has in this basic exhibition selected several exciting works of art from the Kristinehamn artists and scholarship holders with roots in Värmland and Kristinehamn.
The Art Museum's collection
Kristinehamn's art museum has an art collection with a focus on artistry related to Kristinehamn and the region. Purchases for the collection take place at regular intervals, mainly with the support of Vänföreningen Kristinehamn's art museum.
A large part of the collection consists of donations by the artists Bengt Olson and Stig Olson. Bengt Olson (1930-) has lived and worked in Paris for most of his life. He is known for his decorations of public buildings in Paris. The artist Stig Olson (1936-2016) lived and worked in Kristinehamn and is represented in most important museums in Sweden.

Don't miss a visit to the museum shop. Here you will find materials to create your own works of art, books and products with a focus on art and culture as well as fine gifts. The store is decorated to match the current exhibition and incl. special products.
