In the vicinity of Storängen campsite you'll find the cycle path Klarälvsbanan and Ransäters hembygdsgård (Homestead Museum) which during the summer hold many large events, such as one of the worlds largest accordion festivals and the anual dog show.
It´s only 10 kilometers to Munkfors and approximately 30 kilometers to Sunne. Enjoy the beautiful nature, large forests and many lakes.
There are 10 cottages with two or four beds. All cottages have a mini kitchen (fridge, hotplates, crockery, pots and more) and bed linen is available for rent. The campsite is about 15 hectares and offers 99 camping pitches with electricity, in addition to these there are plenty of space without electricity. WC, RWC and showers are available in the service building.
Storängen offers activities for both children and adults. You may go for a swim in the river, fishing, canoeing or go on a beaver safari.
There is also a service store, canteen, playground, barbeque area etcetera.
