The cross at Mikkola is two metres long and equally wide. It consists of two furrows in the ground where nothing ever grows and never has done. No one knows what secrets are concealed in Mikkola och no one knows what powers haunted the farm Välgunaho during the winter of 1901. Furniture moved around, glass and porcelain flew through the air, beds were tipped on end. Finally, the settlement was abandoned. Today, only the foundations remain.
