Årjäng trotting track is an outing for the whole family. Horses and harness racing are more than a sport, they are a lifestyle that has set its stamp on the area over many years. At the track you can enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant here or bring your own picnic. We promise you an exciting, special and maybe that little bit out of the ordinary day.

Next door to the Årjäng track is the Nordic Harness Racing Museum, the only one of its kind in northern Europe.

The permanent exhibitions focus on the history of horses and trotting. The museum also includes the Restaurant Travmuseet and a well-visited library of trotting literature.
For those interested in horses, there is also a lot to choose from in the museum shop. The museum’s restaurant is well known for its good food.

Every yearÅrjäng has a big trotting (and motor) event: HÄSTKRAFT (Horsepower). In 2024 it will take place on July 11-13. It’s a fast-paced festival for the whole family. There will be trotting at an elite level, rally car sprint races in central Årjäng and vintage cars in a classic folk park.
