Do you want to play golf at one of Central Sweden's highest-ranked golf clubs? Then you should go to Karlstad Golf Club which was previously named Golf Club of the Year and which for several years has organized both national and international competitions at an elite level. Although the golf club appeals to the golfing elite, it is equally suitable for the beginner. The golf facility consists of 27 holes, range, training areas, an indoor hall and a short hole course – Solslingan with a total of nine holes. Here you will also find Golfstore's golf shop and a restaurant with a large terrace and lunch service.
A bit outside Karlstad is Billeruds Golfklubb in Grums which is one of Värmland's oldest golf courses, dating back to 1964. Today, the golf club is modernized and has very well-maintained courses with beautiful views from all 18 holes of the golf course. In addition to the view that makes the stay complete, the golf course is also built on cultural land, which shows through beautiful oaks and stone walls. There is also accommodation near the golf course here, choose between a hotel, a cottage or why not a mobile home at one of the pitches in the area.

If you are in Norra Värmland, you can visit Sunnes Golfklubb which offers 18 holes, located right next to lake Fryken. After a full day of golf, you can go on to Hennickehammars Herrgård and stay in one of the beautiful rooms or visit Selma spa for recovery in the hotel's spa or restaurant.
In Filipstad can you play golf at Saxå golf club at the beautiful lake Saxen, which is located between Filipstad and Hällefors. From 13 of the course's 18 holes you can look out over Saxen and near the golf course you will find both Saxå Bruk and Hennickehammars Herrgård with the opportunity to enjoy the manor environment and stay overnight to extend your golf experience.
Plush wide greens in west Värmland
Västra Värmland offers a wide range of golf courses. Årjängs golf course is designed by Peter Nordwall, who gave the course varied and large greens. Here you are met by a hilly course in a fantastic environment with a total of 18 holes right next to Svensbysjön. The golf course also has amenities such as golf cart rental and the option to rent a cabin if you want to live directly adjacent to the course. If you want to play on a slightly more challenging course, you can go to Arvika Golf Club with 18 exciting holes, driving range, putting green or Noresunds Golfklubb, a pearl by Lake Hugn with a restaurant and overnight accommodation in the manor annex.
