Unionsleden

Unionsleden is 350 km long and from west to east, runs from Moss in Norway to Karlstad. The Swedish section is also Sweden’s fourth national cycle trail. When you cycle along Unionsleden you will be struck by the beautifully changing landscape. One minute you’re pedalling through a village, the next minute alongside one of our many lakes. You will be cycling on winding gravel lanes through woods and open landscapes with grazing animals. The area is rich in wildlife with elks, deer, foxes and other fauna that can pop up along the way. You are never far from a place to have a refreshing dip or a beautiful vantage point to enjoy a picnic.

The Vänerleden cycle route is about 640 km long and takes you round Sweden’s largest lake. When you cycle on Vänerleden, you will experience Lake Vänern’s finest bathing beaches, world-class culture and exciting natural phenomena. One moment, you’re cycling through picturesque small towns with a bustling archipelago community, and the next you’re on wonderful gravel tracks through deep forests and open landscapes.

Mjøstråkk

Mjøstråkk is a cycle route around Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. Lelångenleden

The Lelångenleden is an exciting cycle route taking you from the coast in Uddevalla via Dalsland’s lake district all the way up to Värmländ’s forests in Årjäng. You’ll cycle along nice gravel roads and there’s lots to see along the way. The scenic Lelångenleden got its name from the old Uddevalla-Lelången railway line and large parts of the trail follow the disused railway line.  What sets the Lelångenleden apart from many other cycle routes is that almost half of it is along easily cycled gravel roads with a hard packed surface, and very little traffic.

Klarälvsleden

The 130-kilometer-long Klarälvsleden goes from the archipelago to the wilderness and consists of a northern and southern part – both connecting to the Klarälvsbanan. The northern part, Uddeholm–Sysslebäck, is 120 kilometers long and runs on existing asphalt and gravel roads. The southern part, Hammarö–Karlstad, is 10 kilometers long and goes on bike paths and small roads through communities.

It offers varied terrain, from gravel roads to paved sections, and is ideal for adventurous cyclists seeking a unique nature experience.

Pilegrimsruta

The National Cycle Route No. 7, the Pilgrim Route, runs about 620 km from Oslo to Trondheim, following the historic pilgrimage trail to Nidaros Cathedral. It passes through forests, valleys, lakes, and mountains, combining nature with culture and history. Cyclists will encounter scenic villages, medieval churches, and historical sites.
